Halloween

I remember saying how I am aging and not celebrating Halloween. Apparently, I am not that old after all.

It was sort of a last minute decision and everyone was required to dress up! I wanted to become something indifferent since it will be my last time celebrating Halloween. I really wanted to dress up-dress up but yet, I did not want to spend money buying costumes. Brainstormed a while since I didn't want to go for the vampire / angel / devil /cat woman look, cause they were too mainstream. :/

Finally came up with this excellent idea. Spooky yet cost effective, win win situation. :)

Recognise her? Hint: childhood memories.

I really have nothing much to say, will just let the pictures speak.

The only group picture taken that night and it turned out blurry.

Oh highlight of the night, er..it ain't exactly the highlight but to me it is because we were served Hello Kitty!! It's actually a cocktail which contain malibu and something something something, I do not remember. :(

Bought a bottle of fake blood and made (almost) everyone to put it on. Especially those who were not very dressed up or too pretty for Halloween. Come on, people are supposed to look scary or (and) ugly on Halloween!

Notice the blood and scars on her. It looks so real, as if her skin is flaking.

Then she abruptly started modelling lol.

Quote: 'Take a picture of me with your bag ler, I wanna show it to my mum and convince her to buy me one.'

Hahahahaha! So cute.

Note the photobombing retard behind Lololol!

Tiffany brings along a knife with her, while the pirated Lydia holds a cake wtf.

There you go, I was Tiffany, Chucky's bride. Don't tell me you don't know Chucky do you? Childsplay? Come on, if you really don't know Chucky, you definitely own an unexciting childhood.

I promise you

I've been very busy lately, with I don't know what wtf.

And because I have not been doing anything worth mentioning recently, I have no idea what to blog about and I do not bother asking for opinions either because the answers never change. I am always told to do a make up or hair tutorial. I mean, ALWAYS, without fail.

Honestly, the reason I have not posted any tutorial isn't because I am reluctant to share my tips and "so-called skills". It's just a lot more tedious than it looks and I feel awkward talking to myself (video). In fact, I TRIED. And here is my failed attempt. Just the results though, the process was so bad I deleted the entire thing without a second thought lol.

Twas the popteen inspired big goo-goo eyes which I think it is the look most of you would like to achieve most. Frankly, this WAS my favourite look. Not sure if it is the symptom of aging or something, I no longer yearn for miraculously big eyes with thick make up. It's the expression in ones' eyes that matters. Be it small eyes, monolid, uneven eyelids or eicchornia. Most important of all, regardless of what type of makeup look you are going for, BE SURE THAT IT LOOKS CLEAN AND FRESH!

Make up routine I stick to nowadays are relatively light and simple, as illustrated below. However, as you can tell from the pictures, my make up is smudged, ie a no-no failed look. Hence you never see me posting these pictures anywhere, be it Facebook, Instagram or any other social networks.

Make up tip #1

There is other alternative ways to archiving fuller looking lower lashes besides applying fake bottom lashes. That is by drawing them yourselves with an eyeliner! Stroke approximately four strokes on each eyes, spacing them evenly. As shown in the next picture.

I promise to come up with more tips. Unfortunately, I have to stop now for a whole load of external readings awaits me. Please do come back soon and more often because I tend to blog more often when I see increasing traffic. It is quite disappointing when you realise no one reads your blog you know. *act ke lian lol

Purple sunset, Polka dot and Paris

Hello! I just came back from Paris yesterday and I miss it already, not. This is my second trip to Paris and I.do.not.like.it. I am glad I managed to arrive London in one piece, don't think I will step my feet into Paris for the third time.

Anyway, I remember Janet recommended that I try the Purple Sunset look and I googled how a purple sunset will look like cause you know, all you see in Malaysia is er...red (?) sunset and for Uk, it's either super gloomy or sunny all day. You don't really get to see the sun rise or set.

This was the search result. First thing that cross my mind was, omg, typical Janet's purple planet. Not surprise why you came up with that idea lol. ;)

This is my first attempt and also my failed attempt.  I will give it another try, hopefully getting something which looks less of me getting punched on both eyes hehe.

I also did a little tutorial on nail art. Whatttt? Don't give me that look, I'm on my holidays now and I am free but not for long, there's very very very high possibilities that I have to start studying for my resit soon fml.

Step 1: Do the simple french tip. It does not need to be neat because further designs are going to cover it and you can't tell whether the french tips are neat or not.
Step 2: Start drawing the petal by dotting on nail varnish, more dots on the outside and less inwards.
Step 3 and 4: Continue drawing until you are satisfied with the number of petals and flowers.
Step 5: Criss cross with glitter to complete the look.

It really is A LOT easier than how the outcome seems so just give it a try! I am sure you will be satisfied with the results. However, this is not the nail art I have now. I removed them the moment I finished snapping these pictures as I needed nail design that is easier to match my clothes (since I am going to Paris).

So ta dahhh!!! There were my nails to Paris, pastel pink and purple with polka dots and gold glitter. Simple yet very pretty and elegant. A couple of french ladies asked where I did my nails and complimented on the way I dress.

Lolol! Anyway, here are some photos taken on the first day of the trip. Was really excited for this trip cause this is my first time travelling with this group of friends, they are all Malaysian transferred from the Nottingham campus in KL.

Looked like a zombie with hideous eye bags on the first day due to lack of sleep. We spent our night chilling in Costa, talking crap and also in the train, blabbering all the bo liao stuff lol and regretted the moment our sight seeing tour begun LOL. Really zombiefied la haha!

She is super skinny and tall, I is jealous.

So fair some more and has the brain, how can all the good thing compile on one person. Life is so unfair. :( *

Super super yummy croissant we bought at the station near our accommodation. This is seriously the BEST croissant I have ever tasted in my life, no joke! It's soft, fluffy and buttery. Would die for one now! Ugh!

Stay tuned for my updates on my second visit to Disneyland Paris, this time, with friends
